Rogers Cable has been the source of frustration for many
people!
A friend
of mine was so frustrated with them that he wanted to
register the domain www.ihaterogers.com and put up a
rant site. The domain was registered already. He then
tried ihaterogers.net and ihaterogers.org and they were
taken too. The funny thing was that they were registered
to who else but Rogers Cable....
He
eventually secured
www.ihaterogers.ca and
produced what in my opinion is one of the funniest sites
around. Check it out.
I do a lot
of work from home on my PC. I had to email our customers
to let them know about the launch of one of our new web
sites and an event we had planned.
I began my
email campaign and after a while I got a message stating
that I had exceeded my daily allowance to send out
email. Hmmm.....how do you exceed daily allowance when
you are on an unlimited plan?
I called
Rogers support because I have alternative outgoing mail
servers available to me which have no daily restrictions. The short answer
from the Rogers customer service representative was NO, I have
to use their servers, which they informed me are
controlled by Yahoo.
But Yahoo
and Rogers cut my mail abilities off I pleaded. The
customer service rep was not able to help me further.
What a
crappy company to deal with.
Disclaimer
The addition of a rant on
ilist4free does not indicate endorsement of the rant by
ilist4free. ilist4free works on the simple principal
that if it is a rant it will be added. And ilist4free
makes the judgment as to whether it is a rant or not.
The responsibility of the content of a rant remains with
the submitter of the rant.
